Lost Lantern hand-selected these single casks from Cascade Hollow Distilling Co., better known as George Dickel, one of the most storied distilleries in the country. Founded in 1878 and rebuilt in the 1950s, the distillery has long been a defining voice in Tennessee whiskey and has soared to new heights under the leadership of trailblazing distiller Nicole Austin. George Dickel is Lost Lantern’s first heritage distillery partner.

George Dickel Tennessee Whiskey 18 Years Old
The oldest whiskey Lost Lantern has ever released. Made from 84% corn, 8% rye, and 8% malt, charcoal-mellowed using the Lincoln County process and aged for 18 years in a new oak barrel. Tennessee’s humid aging conditions helped bring the cask strength down to just over 80 proof, yet the whiskey retains remarkable depth and intensity, with leather, roasted fruit, and hefty oak notes.

George Dickel Straight Bourbon Whiskey 10 Years Old Not Charcoal Mellowed
An unusual look at George Dickel bourbon that did not undergo the process of charcoal mellowing, the signature step that defines Tennessee whiskey. Made from 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malt and aged for 10 years, this single cask offers an intriguing comparison with George Dickel’s Tennessee whiskey. Bold and bright, with rich oak and baking spice notes.

George Dickel Tennessee Light Whiskey 8 Years Old
This is both George Dickel’s and Lost Lantern’s first light whiskey. Made from 84% corn, 8% rye, and 8% malt and aged for eight years in a used oak barrel, this rare single cask invites exploration of an overlooked whiskey category. Delicate and nuanced, it has a lighter body and mouthfeel than bourbon while offering plenty of complexity.
